V I S I O N

Das Saraswati Mandala ist der schöpferische Entwurf eines offenen Schulprojektes, das 2009 von Gisela und Rainer Grenkowitz ins Leben gerufen wurde.

Es verdankt seine Entstehung der Großzügigkeit, Dankbarkeit und Begeisterung von Menschen, die den großen und kleinen Bewohnern von Bondalem etwas von der menschlichen Wärme zurueckgeben wollen, die sie hier erfahren durften.

Es wurde nicht aus irgendwelchen entwicklungspolitischen Motiven heraus am Schreibtisch erdacht, sondern ganz spontan vom Leben selbst hervorgebracht.

Unter dem Motto:“Es gibt nichts Gutes, ausser man tut es“ ist das Saraswati Mandala ein sich organisch entwickelndes Experiment, Bildung auf unbefangene und kreative Weise als das vermitteln, was sie im ursprünglichen Sinne ist: Die Formung des Menschen im Hinblick auf sein Menschsein

Saraswati als Hüterin der Weisheit und Mandala als ein Sinnbild für Ganzheit stehen für unser Anliegen ganzheitliche Bildungsangebote für Kinder und junge Erwachsene zu bieten, die Kopf und Herz verbinden und die befähigen, das Beste in ihnen zum Vorschein zu bringen.

Denn nur wenn Menschen ermutigt werden an ihr höchstes Potential zu glauben, sind sie in der Lage sich selbst, ihrer Familie und ihrer Gemeinschaft auf kraftvolle Weise zur Verfügung zu stehen.

Saraswati Mandala is the emerging creation of an open school project, brought into life by Gisela and Rainer Grenkowitz.

It came into being through the generosity and gratitude of guests who were touched by the human warmth and kindness of Bondalem’s people, that they wanted to give something in return.

It was not motivated by developmental strategies or abstract concepts, but was generated spontaneously by life itself.

Our slogan is: “Actions speak louder than words”.

Saraswati Mandala is an organically unfolding experiment, to deliver education in an unprententious and creative way, in the most fundamental sense of education itself: The formation of a person with the emphasis on their humanity.

We chose the godess Saraswati as the guardian of wisdom and a mandala as the image of wholeness to stand for our intention to offer holistic educational opportunities for children and young adults. When the heart and mind are united they can bring out the best on themselves.

It is only when people are encouraged to believe in their greatest potential that they can really be available for themselves, their family and their community.
